She hosted two seasons of a spin-off show in the next three years named Angels and performed as a judge in another spin-off Grudge Match. Malarkey also owns two antiques shops and oddities in Pennsylvania.
Ryan Ashley Malarkey was born on 29 April 1987 in Pennsylvania. Her single mother took a night school in accounting while working at a fast-food restaurant. Malarkey’s mother taught her how to draw as she was also an artist.
She did her graduation in 2007 from the Fashion Institute of Technology and spent five in New York City as a fashion designer at a private label, where she designed lace details, beadwork, appliqués, and embroidery for garments.
Malarkey returned to Pennsylvania seeking a career outside of a traditional office environment to be a tattoo artist. She worked at a tattoo parlor through appointments that take walk-in requests.
In Kingston, Pennsylvania, Malarkey and her friend began a parlor in 2013 named, The Strange and Unusual Oddities. From the back of the shop, Malarkey designed tattoos and their collection of objects, restored antiques and taxidermy were sold in the front. In Philadelphia, with taxidermist business partners both of them opened a second shop. Rock musicians like Ash Costello and Maria Brink are also her clients.
Further, she was featured as the coverin January 2019 in the Inked Magazine along with the famous tattoo artist named Arlo DiCristina. She was even awarded at many Tattoo Expos with distinct honors for her interest in the tattoos sector.

Malarkey was previously engaged to Josh Balz. But now she in late 2019 happily married to Arlo DiCristina, a famous tattoo artist. The couple is now blessed with a son named Atheus, who was born in May 2020.
She declared openly on covers of Inked magazine about her relationship with Arlo and her pregnancy. Through the medium of Inked magazine, they both met each other in November 2018.
Before marrying Arlo DiCristina, Ryan Ashley was in an affair with Joshua Balz. According to the reports, both of them started dating each other in 2013.
The pair even started their shop to make their relationship strong and came to be the co-owners of the parlor, “The Strange and Unusual Oddities”.
But, Ryan got busy traveling with Ink Master: Angels and their strong bond began to become weak. In 2017, they confirmed to break up and walk their separate ways.
